Black Kavuni Dosa Mix – 500g

Black kavuni ground with urad dal, fenugreek, pepper and cumin. The dosa comes out a deep purple-brown, which is enough on its own to get children to eat it – and it carries the anthocyanins that give the grain its colour.

Take the amount of mix you need, add water and stir until smooth, add salt to taste, and let it stand for a short while. No overnight fermentation is needed.

High in fibre and minerals. The flavour is fuller than a plain rice dosa and stands up well to a sambar or a spicy chutney.
